The Goodwood Group takes your privacy very seriously. We ask that you read this Privacy Notice carefully as it contains important information about what to expect when we collect personal information about you, including how we will use your personal information and the steps that we take to ensure that it is kept secure.

This privacy policy is issued on behalf of the Goodwood Group so when 1 we mention "Goodwood", "we", "us" or "our" in this privacy policy, we are referring to the relevant company in the Goodwood Group responsible for processing your data. The Goodwood Estate Company Limited, Goodwood House, Goodwood, Chichester, West Sussex PO18 0PX (registered company number: 0553452 and registered Information Commissioner’s Office number: Z6330750) is the controller and responsible for this website.

We may collect and process special category data relating to your health when you book a health programme or health retreat with us or for some spa treatments and this is to provide and manage the product or service. We will always treat special categories of personal data as confidential and we will only share such data internally where there is a specific and legitimate purpose for sharing the data. For some of our health programmes and retreats we use third party experts to conduct talks or give specialist sessions and advice and we may need to share your health data with them so that they can provide the service, all third party experts engaged by us to assist in the running of our health programmes are subject to strict confidentiality and data protection provisions. We have implemented appropriate physical, technical and organisational security measures designed to secure your personal data against accidental loss and unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. We will only retain special categories of personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, for health information this will be from when you booked the service and for the duration of the health programme or treatment.
Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract. In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have booked with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.
We appreciate that individuals under the age of 18 are interested in some of our activities and experiences and other leisure activities in particular golf, young driver training, half term activities, simulator experiences or the Goodwood online shop. We therefore ask parents and legal guardians to supervise their children when they are online and that children under the age of 13 do not submit personal information or content to Goodwood, purchase goods, products or services, including subscriptions, or take part in Goodwood promotions or competitions, without the consent of their parent or legal guardian.
