We are committed to making our events inclusive and unforgettable for all guests. We work with Nimbus Disability to manage the application process for Essential Companion tickets, to ensure the best possible experience for our guests.

Disabled guests may be eligible for a complimentary Essential Companion ticket if they are unable to attend without the help and support of another person. To book an Essential Companion ticket, you must hold a valid Nimbus Access Card or a Goodwood Digital Access Pass with the +1 symbol.
Nimbus Disability is a social enterprise and organisation run by and for disabled people, and is recognised as a leading authority on accessible ticketing in the UK.
Validate your access requirements with Nimbus by providing supporting documentation and information. Nimbus will assess your application. Once approved, you'll be issued your Digital Access Pass (or an Access Card if you've upgraded). Your Pass will be valid for 3 years.
Apply for a Nimbus Access Card or free Goodwood Digital Access Pass below.
Once you've received confirmation of your Goodwood Digital Access Pass (or Access Card) with the +1 symbol, apply for an Essential Companion ticket for the Goodwood event you have purchased your ticket to by completing the form below. An Essential Companion provides care and support to a guest who would be unable to attend an event without the help and support of another person.
By accepting the complimentary ticket, an Essential Companion accepts responsibility for providing the support needed by the customer to attend an event. This includes being able to provide them with additional assistance during the course of an emergency evacuation.
The staff at the event are unable to provide assistance in excess of their typical role and general reasonable adjustments so it’s important that, if a customer needs assistance while at the event, their Essential Companion is ready, able and willing to support with this.

No. Essential Companion tickets are issued strictly on a 1:1 basis and are intended solely for granting someone entry to provide care and support to a guest who would be unable to attend without the help and support of another person, and provide assistance in the event of an emergency.
Please note that anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a full-paying adult. This means an Essential Companion ticket cannot be used to bring a child, and children cannot be counted as an Essential Companion as this would be a barrier to the Essential Companion being able to fulfil their duty.
