Once you have made your purchase, you will receive an email ahead of the event with instructions on how to download the iOS or Android Goodwood Tickets app. When you log in to the app (using the account with which you made the purchase) your tickets will be available to view and share within the Goodwood Tickets app, under the 'tickets' tab.

Paper tickets will no longer be available for events that have moved to digital ticketing. Digital ticketing will eventually be the only option for our events, which aligns with our ambitions to reduce paper waste and help lower our carbon footprint.

The QR code on your digital ticket is live and must be scanned as a live ticket on your phone. 

You can download the tickets to your wallet in the Goodwood Ticketing app again. Please contact our Ticket Office team on 01243 755055 if you require assistance.

Make sure you have downloaded the Goodwood Ticketing app to your new device. Log into the app and your tickets will be available to view and share in the app’s wallet.

Children’s tickets are free and must be ordered in advance. Your children’s tickets will be available for download in the app and will need to be scanned at the event entrance. Wristbands for younger children at horseracing and Members’ Meeting will still be issued on the gates to allow for a contact number to be written on them in case of accidental separation.

Your digital tickets will be available in the Goodwood Tickets app 14 days before the event, please don’t worry if you don’t see all your tickets there immediately. We’ll make sure all of your tickets arrive well in advance of the event.

Parking products can be booked at the same time as your tickets and will be downloadable in the Goodwood Tickets app.

Essential Companion Tickets

Once you have made your purchase, your tickets will be available to share from the Goodwood Tickets app’s wallet. The app will allow you to share tickets via any communication app on your mobile phone e.g. email, text, WhatsApp, Messenger.

Your guests should receive a notification from whichever messaging application you have used. Following this, your guests who have not yet downloaded the Goodwood Tickets app will receive an email inviting them to download the app and create an account to access their tickets. Guests who have already downloaded the Goodwood Tickets app and created an account will receive an email, as well as a notification in the app.

If your guest(s) does not have a compatible device you will need to retain their ticket(s) within the wallet of your Goodwood Tickets app. If using this option, you will need to arrive at the event together or arrange to meet them at the entrance in order to present their digital ticket(s) for scanning.

Should you have tickets for different grandstands or event areas, you will need to show your guest’s ticket in order for them to gain entry to these areas.

They will need to return the ticket to you from their Goodwood Ticketing app.

No. Screenshots will not be accepted. A live ticket must be scanned from the wallet of the Goodwood Ticketing app in order to gain entry.

If your guest has accepted and downloaded the ticket you shared, please ask your guest to share the ticket in their app back with you. 

If your guest hasn't downloaded the ticket that you shared, the ticket remains in your account and you can share it again. 

Please ensure that you have downloaded your ticket(s) to the wallet in the Goodwood Tickets app before you arrive at the gates. Your live digital ticket will be scanned at the gate.

Yes. You will need to scan out of the event on your exit and you will be able to re-enter the event by scanning in again.

Please check the minimum operating system for your device to ensure it supports the  Goodwood Tickets app. If uninstalling and reinstalling the app does not remedy the issue, please contact the Ticket Office on 01243 755055.

If you are at the event gate, please visit the Ticket Office collection huts for assistance.

Visit a Ticket Office hut at any event entrance gate for further assistance.

Your mobile device does not require WiFi connectivity or signal at the entrance as long as your digital pass is already downloaded to your Goodwood Tickets app wallet prior to attending. Please ensure you have downloaded your digital pass to your wallet before arriving at Goodwood to avoid delays on entry.

Please check the functionality of your particular smart watch before arriving at the event.

No. You cannot pass tickets on after you have left the event.

Digital ticketing will enhance the customer experience by making entry to events faster and more efficient; sharing ticketing purchases with a group will also be easier. Other benefits include minimising the risk of losing physical tickets and increasing protection against fraud and touting. The move to digital tickets will also reduce paper waste.

In 2025, all horseracing fixtures and Breakfast Clubs will use digital tickets. Our headline motorsport events and Goodwoof will follow in 2026.

Your data privacy remains unchanged and Goodwood will continue to operate our Privacy Policy.

A 5% booking fee will be applied to all orders. The booking fee is a percentage per transaction rather than per ticket and will be capped at a maximum of £5 per transaction. This won’t be applicable to Breakfast Club.

As a GHRC member you will have received a swing and RFID card in your annual membership pack in the post. For 2025, your membership will remain on our current ticketing system. You will still need your metal swing and card to access the events and members’ enclosures.

Any additional tickets you purchase will be in the digital format.

Yes, if you plan to enter the Richmond Enclosure you will still require a swing badge.

You will receive a digital ticket to access the event and you will be provided with a swing badge on arrival.

Yes. Your grandstand pass will be digital and will be checked by the grandstand stewards on the day.

Yes, if you have bought a hospitality package you will still require a swing badge to enter your enclosure. You will receive a digital ticket to access the event and you will be provided with a hospitality swing badge on arrival to your hospitality enclosure.

Whilst entry into the event will be a digital ticket, we appreciate that special touches, such as metal swing badges, are an essential part of your Members' Meeting experience. Further details on how to collect your complimentary souvenir metal badge at the event will be sent out in due course. No action is required at this point.

Yes, grandstand passes will also be digital and will be scanned when you first visit a grandstand on the day of the event. You will then receive a wristband to act as your roving grandstand pass.

Those who have purchased a parking or camping pass will be provided with further details nearer to the event. No action is required at this point.
