Kinrara Consulting has access to the experts drawn from across the Goodwood Group and as such will be advising Oro Station on day-to-day circuit management, the organisation of high profile events with a potential global digital audience and attracting and retaining high net worth individuals to a membership model.
Dan Hughes, Director of Kinrara Consulting said: “We are delighted to be able to offer Goodwood’s expertise to Oro Station. There are clear synergies between Goodwood as the traditional home of speed in the UK and this incredibly exciting new facility near Toronto. Our hope is for a strong and long-lasting collaboration where each of our great circuits supports and learns from the other.”
Inspired by, and much in common with the Goodwood Motor Circuit in West Sussex, UK, Kinrara Consulting was a natural partner for Oro Station. Many of the facilities on offer at Oro Station have their counterparts at Goodwood, England’s leading sporting estate, including an exclusive members’ organisation and the Goodwood Road and Racing Club.
The Duke of Richmond said: “Goodwood is always looking for new ways of sharing what we do and in Oro Station we have found a group of likeminded, passionate people who are as excited about creating exceptional experiences as we are. We are very much looking forward to helping them build an incredible offering in Ontario, Canada.”
Oro Station will comprise of over 500,000 square feet of industrial space, joining an automotive business park with a motorsport road course and testing facilities. The complex will be home to engineering, education, service, supply and manufacturing businesses all centred around the art and joy of the automobile.
The Oro Station Motor Circuit is a 4.1km road course which can be run in multiple configurations, offering enthusiasts an ever-evolving experience. In addition to its 16 challenging corners in its Full Circuit layout, Oro Station will include split track formats, dynamic test areas and skidpads. The circuit has been designed by the award-winning Driven International, which was most recently responsible for the Silverstone FIA world rallycross track, among other notable circuit designs.
Oro Station will also be the home of the Bexley Motor Club, where members will not only have exclusive access to the circuit and all its facilities, but the opportunity to have their prized possession receive year-round, white glove treatment and maintenance by the Carcierge Service. For fly-in, fly-out access, members will be able to take advantage of the helipad or nearby Lake Simcoe Regional Airport.
The Bexley Motor Club will feature a members’ clubhouse, autominiums (private garages available for purchase), a fitness centre, and dining facilities—all of which come together to form a unique community for motoring enthusiasts.
“The Duke of Richmond and his talented team have created the pinnacle of automotive events at the Goodwood Estate”, says Geoffrey Campbell, Managing Partner of Oro Station. “The care and attention to detail is evident in the success of their facility and the quality of experience for customers, sponsors and manufacturers alike. We are honoured to be working with the Goodwood Group to ensure Oro Station and Bexley Motor Club learn from and follow in their pursuit of perfection.”
