With Bentley’s 100th birthday just 10 days away, the manufacturer has announced that it will be unveiling something very, very special in celebration.
On Wednesday 10th July Bentley will unveil the “future of grand touring”, the EXP 100 GT concept car. Utilising the ‘EXP’ moniker, which Bentley has historically used to denote a model’s experimental, pre-production nature, the new model reportedly embodies the future of the Bentley brand.
Fans of internal combustion will be engine-hunting for an awfully long time, as the EXP 100 GT is a “transformative zero emissions model that will blend inspire extraordinary human experiences through a perfect blend of technology and craftsmanship”. In short, it’s electric, but this being a Bentley we’re expecting plenty of power and torque.
Bentley says owners will be able to both enjoy the thrill of driving and the comfort of autonomy, too. Thankfully that gives some indication that, while autonomous driving will play a role in Bentley’s future, for the time being at least you’ll still be able to take control.
The particularly keen Bentley fans amongst you can register with Bentley at www.ExtraordinaryJourneys.Bentley to watch the reveal live on Wednesday 10th July at 4pm. Rest assured we’ll bring you the more complete picture when we have more.
