Despite many manufacturers best efforts there is one company that stands firm at the top of the Le Mans tree: Porsche. With 19 wins spanning nearly five decades the only other company that has broken into double figures is Audi with 13, a show of the Stuttgart marque’s La Sarthe prowess. With Porsche returning to Le Mans in 2023, pairing with Penske to compete in the WEC and IMSA, we thought it would be good to have a brief look back at Porsche’s Le Mans winners.
