F1 heroes descend on Goodwood
When you’ve got a handful of F1 cars, some of the most successful cars of all time, it makes sense to put them together for a family photo, don’t you think? As the sun set on the third and final day of Goodwood SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard, that’s exactly what we did.
Photographer Nigel Harniman, having snapped the TWR Jaguars after dark on Friday, took the time to capture a beautiful image of no fewer than nine Formula 1 cars before they all headed off to their respected homes. At the front was the 2017 Mercedes-Benz F1 W08, and behind that a 1968 Lotus 49B, 2009 Brawn BGP 001, 1970 Lotus 72, 1991 McLaren MP4-6, 1976 McLaren M23, 1983 Brabham BT52, 1979 Lotus 79 and 1982 Williams FW08. Not a bad line-up, wouldn’t you agree?
