Saturday’s stunning fireworks set the paddocks aglow
If you thought things at the Goodwood Motor Circuit got quiet after dark, think again. After a day’s action on track, the cars rested in their paddocks beneath a backdrop of spectacular fireworks, as the Saturday Night Party kept the festivities of the 82nd Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport going into the early hours.
A stone’s throw away from the heart of the revelry, these magnificent machines dazzled in a whole new way under these illuminations. Having captivated us in motion, this stillness allows their craftsmanship to be most closely examined, and the colourful bodywork dazzles in the glow to create the prettiest of pictures.
There are so many wonderful sights to see over the Members’ Meeting weekend, but as this gallery can attest, this late-night scene is up there with the best.
Following the thrill of the Hailwood Trophy, Gordon Spice Trophy, and Gurney Cup races that closed out Saturday this was the perfect way to end the day. We can’t wait to see what Sunday has in store.

Tickets for the 83rd Members’ Meeting will be available for a limited time immediately after this year’s event for Members and Fellows of the GRRC. Admission and Grandstand tickets will go on sale on Monday 14th April for Members, and Wednesday 16th April for Fellows.

How many hay bales are used at FOS?
For the last two years, 5,800 bales have been recylced into the biomass energy centre to be used for energy generation
