Video: Shedden and Van Der Garde get too close at Revival

It’s got to be about time we talked about THAT close call. Revival 2016 was one of the most spectacular ever, with some exceptional racing, even more spectacular cars, and some serious spills.

Some of the best cars are on show at during the RAC TT Celebration – a cohort of sports GT racers from the 1960s brandishing massive power and minimal grip. Possibly the greatest moment of this year’s TT was the save in the video above. When Gordon Shedden in the E-Type and Giedo van der Garde in the Cobra get a bit too intimate, the Cobra locks up trying to keep the paint clean. The resulting spin leaves the Cobra within a waft of the grass of the tyre wall!
