Day Two of the Goodwood Revival has dawned, and it’s the first full programme of racing. But before that kicks off with the Goodwood Trophy, we will be treated to a parade of Volkswagen Type 2 campervans. Other parades throughout the day will include our celebration of the great Jim Clark and a demonstration of Alfa Romeos.
Thundering Can-Am cars will take to the track later in the day for their 25-minute race, while the RAC TT Celebration will also have its fair share of thunder during Official Practice. That is all to come, though. For now the air is still and engines are silent as the paddocks awake from their overnight slumber as the sun rises across the Motor Circuit.
Our photographers were here at dawn to capture an atmospheric gallery of rain-sheltered race cars, some of them still under cover and others being fettled ahead of a day of action. We can’t wait for things to get going for what promises to be an unforgettable day.
And even if you’re unable to be here to soak up the atmosphere in person, you can see all the action on our Live Stream that will be broadcasting all day.
