The Timed Shoot-Out builds and builds throughout the weekend. Drivers get their eye in day by day, accelerating harder, applying the brake a few metres later and taking more of the grass on the inside of turns. For this year and last, however, there’s been a twist on the Timed Shoot-Out format.

On Sunday there’s still the usual flat-out and fearless attack on the Hill, with drivers giving it everything they have for one final blast. But on Saturday there are now Timed-Shootout class honours up for grabs, meaning a greater incentive for drivers to push on Saturday.

We saw all sorts, from the pre-war Bentley Barnato Hassan Special pioneer and a 992 911 GT3 R, to a Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear and the Ford F-150 Lightning SuperTruck.

It would be easy to assume the SuperTruck will deliver the goods in the Timed Shoot-Out grand finale on Sunday afternoon, but one small mistake will destroy your momentum and ruin your time on a Hillclimb course as short as this. The overall title for 2025 is still very much up for grabs, and we can’t wait to see who comes out on top.
