James Wallis is first up, behind the wheel of his Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, a car he has regularly thrown up the Hill in increasingly dramatic fashion. No one sends out of turn two and up past Goodwood House quite like Wallis, and he was at it again in 2025, leaving very little on the table and, at various points, very little tyre in contact with the road as he threaded the powerful Porsche perfectly between the bales. This was a textbook run, and well worth taking another look at.
The rest of this video continues in a similar vein, with drift action courtesy of a frankly insane Ford Mustang RTR followed by the much calmer but immensely capable McLaren 765LT Spider.
Few cars were more chaotic over the course of the Festival of Speed than the Toyota GR Yaris Rally1, and we’re absolutely here for it. The amount of suspension travel alone is enough to yield a smile, but the way the driver absolutely chucks it into a donut on the entrance to turn two is brilliant, then the follow up donuts in front of the House are some of the most impressive we’ve ever seen, as the car disappears in a cloud of self-made smoke.
Any time we get to see the legendary Brawn BGP001 in action at Goodwood is an absolute treat, and it was here again in 2025, being driven on Sunday by a very enthusiastic Karun Chandhok.
The incredible sights and sounds continue until the very end, with no small number of bucket list cars strutting their stuff on the Hill at the 2025 Festival of Speed.
