Flying overhead we saw the Red Arrows for the second day running, but flying on the Hill we saw the 1985 Indy 500 winner Danny Sullivan reunited with his March 85C. ‘Mr Spin and Win’ Sullivan is an Indy 500 hero. Passing Mario Andretti for the lead on lap 120, Sullivan spun through a full 360 degrees, managed not to crash, and then caught up with Andretti again to make the pass and take the win. If you’ve never seen the race, you need to watch it as soon as possible. 

Also on the Hill was every generation of Ford Supervan, plus the new F-150 Lightning Supertruck, Tom Kristensen in his 2000 Le Mans winning Audi R8, a collection of Colin McRae’s rally cars, including his 1995 WRC championship winner, and Mario Andretti in his 1978 F1 championship winning Lotus 79.
