Bikes got the wheels rolling on Sunday with an eclectic mixture covering everything from adventure bikes to cruisers, scramblers and electric models, before a Dakar-rally ready Land Rover Defender made the first outing of the day for a four-wheeler.
Restomods provided some of the biggest thrills of the day, be it the Lancia Beta Montecarlo — based on the 037 rally car, TWR's Jaguar XJS-based Supercat, the Rolls-Royce Phantom V by Lunaz or the Eccentrica V12, a reimagined version of Lamborghini's iconic Diablo with modern features like traction control.
The 75th anniversary of the Formula 1 World Championship was a central pillar of this year's event and, boy, have we lots for you here, kicking off with an interview with legendary designer Adrian Newey, who shares what sparked his love for cars and how F1 has evolved over the years.
But, of course, the cars were the stars, and the list of machines on action on the Hill spanned everything from the early years to the present day, while Sunday celebrated four-time World Champion, the great Alain Prost, with the final balcony moment of the weekend.
The phrase ‘too much to mention’ might be overused, but in the case of this ten-hour offering that is very much the case. Enjoy!
