Video: 11 best runs from Friday at the 2025 Festival of Speed

You’d think there would only be so many times you’d be able to watch cars go up the Hill before you got bored. Yeah, that’s not the case. We could watch this all day long.

Friday at the Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard was a ripper, with road, drift, rally, Dakar, Indy and endurance cars sliding up the Hill. Our wonderful editors have taken a look at all of the day’s footage and managed to pick out the 11 best runs from the entire day — no easy feat.

We start with the ear-splitting V12 engined TWR Supercat before hearing from another V12 monster, the Ferrari FXX-K. We then see the wild Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear being pushed flat-out before Mad Mike Whiddett turned some tyres to dust with his Mazda RX7 FD ‘Humbul’.

Also fit for inclusion was the Ford F-150 Lightning SuperTruck, Scott Speed and the Subaru Project Midnight, and the MG EX4 with BTCC driver Daniel Rowbottom behind the wheel and pushing. Then there’s the Bentley Bentayga Speed, McLaren 750S, David Coulthard doing doughnuts in the Red Bull RB8, and the Chameleon Lotus Evija.

Some drivers were pushing, some drivers were playing — all of them were having fun.
