As with most motorsport events, drivers take their time to build up their pace throughout the weekend — there’s no point pushing so hard on a Thursday that you don’t have a car to compete with on Sunday.
On Saturday, then, drivers were pushing harder than they had at any other point this weekend, vying for top honours in their respective classes and getting ready for one final heroic push on Sunday.
It’s clear the Ford F-150 Lightning SuperTruck is still the one to watch out for in the Timed Shoot-Out, but some of the other machines you’re about to see aren’t very far behind at all.
