The best bits of F1 75 at the Festival of Speed

It’s been quite the weekend for Formula 1 fans at the 2025 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard. Never have we seen so many F1 cars and drivers in action at Goodwood, this year’s F1 75 celebration has been everything we’d hoped for and more.

The Hill has been teeming with stunning F1 machinery all weekend long, with a vast collection of cars from the unknown to the iconic, underdogs, innovators, pioneers, champions and more have all be showcased over the course of four sweltering days at the Festival of Speed.

Nine of the current F1 teams are in attendance this weekend, with Liam Lawson, Esteban Ocon, Ollie Bearman, Yuki Tsunoda and Gabriel Bortoleto set to be in action over the four days.

The Festival of Speed is telling the definitive story of F1, capturing the essence of the sport’s steeped history, with a huge list of cars representing the champions, underdogs, innovators and pioneers that have shaped F1 over the past three quarters of a decade.

Thursday saw the majority of F1 cars in action on the Hill for the first time, and we have since been treated to a mouth-watering timetable of moments that have captured the imagination and stirred our emotions.

Saturday saw seven F1 World Champions congregate on the balcony at Goodwood House for what was a truly special moment, the likes of which we will never see again. Legends of the sport, Prost, Mansell, Stewart, Andretti, Fittipaldi, Hakkinen and Villeneuve, stood arm in arm in the mutual adoration of a huge crowd.

The final day of the Festival of Speed is set to continue in that same vain, and we can only look forward to seeing what else we have in store under glorious sunshine.
