It’s the final day of the 2025 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, and the weekend is set to peak as we build up to the climax of the Timed Shoot-Out.

The excitement is building around the Goodwood Estate one more time as the crowds gather again under bright blue skies and the sound of engines ring out around the paddocks. The Hill may have been tranquil early this morning, but soon enough it becomes the stage for some of the world’s most incredible road and racing action.
Goodwood’s F1 75 celebrations are at the heart of it all, as they continue apace on Sunday with two more huge moments scheduled to round out four brilliant days of Formula 1 action. Four-time World Champion Alain Prost will be up on the balcony at Goodwood House to soak up the adoration of the crown once again as we shine a light on his record-breaking career. The F1 Ultimate Grid is also set to be a memorable moment, with legends of the sport showcased in a unique way on the Hill.
The Timed Shoot-Out will of course be as dramatic as ever, as the gloves come off and the visors come down for some very competitive drivers throwing caution to the wind in search of Festival of Speed immortality. Romain Dumas has set an impressive benchmark in the outrageous Ford Supertruck, but there’s still one more chance for those behind to make inroads and challenge for overall victory.
Engines are roaring and the excitement is building, but before we strapped in for one more day of unmissable action at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, our photographers took some snaps of the calm before the storm.
